Matchmaking Event: Culture of Solidarity Fund Just Transition Interregional Edition

From 10h00 – 12h00 CET on 26 January 2024, the European Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with partners from North-Western Italy, will conduct enriching online sessions that delve into the role of culture in the concept of Just Transition.
This event will focus on the significant contributions of the artistic and cultural sectors to integrated environmental sustainability. Just Transition, evolving into a vision-driven and cohesive framework within European Union strategies, necessitates active involvement from civic, public, and professional stakeholders. Notably, the creative field is urged to unite collectively, steering Europe towards a greener and environmentally conscious future.
In our online gathering, organisations interested in the Just Transition dialogue will explore the underappreciated role of culture in regional transformation processes towards sustainability. Participants will gain insights from policy analyses and practical experiences by relevant European institutions, EU network representatives, and creative practitioners and receive valuable guidance on leveraging the Culture of Solidarity Fund for co-financing opportunities. This includes partnering and experimenting with culture-led interregional projects aligned with the principles of Just Transition.

2. Register here for the matchmaking event to be held Friday, 26 January, from 10h00 to 12h00 CET time;
3. Check our CoS Fund Community Trello Board, where you can create your profile, browse other organisations interested in the call, and create project partnerships.
The application deadline for the Culture of Solidarity Fund 2023 Just Transition Interregional edition is 29 February 2024.
