Re-youth the Square

As an extension of their earlier COS project Knowledgescapes of Urban Utopias, in which KUNSTrePUBLIK got in contact with some local youth groups, their proposal was about trying to re-activate abandoned squares and the spaces adjusted to it; so-called Platz der Jugend (Square of the Youth). By inviting Ukraian communities which are temporary residing in the city, due to the direct (labor)-connection between steel-industrial parks Eisenhüttenstadt and Kryvyi Rih, KUNSTrePUBLIK tries bring about a new perspective on the square in this city with an aging population.
