Citizens of Kyiv photo exhibition

The grant covered the publication of the artist photobook Citizens of Kyiv that comprises 80 portraits and interviews conducted by photojournalist Alexander Chekmenev since March amidst the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The book presentation and eponymous exhibition took place alongside a series of lectures curated by the Faculty of Arts, University of Antwerp on the topic of identity and politics. The project was coordinated by Malý Berlín.
