Celebrate Europe Day with three online IDFA documentaries

4 May 2024

As each year our partners of the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam present you a selection of documentary films that encourages the public debate on Europe. The history of Europe is made up of many stories told by many people with varying perspectives. These stories are essential for developing sentiments, a sense of belonging, but also for challenging the status quo where it seems insufficient.

This year IDFA selected the following three documentaries: The story of Ne KukoThe Pawnshop and A picture to remember. These are free to watch from May 5 – May 12, from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine.
