We stand in solidarity with the victims of the devastating earthquake in South East Turkey and Northern Syria. Many of the communities who we work and connect with in our Vaha and Tandem programmes as well as Re:framing Migrants in the Media are heavily affected.

Our sympathies and hopes are with all our local partners, contacts, and the European Cultural Foundation colleagues, their families, and friends in and from the region. After tackling immediate humanitarian needs, many communities and locations will also be in need of cultural emergency relief. Together with our network in the region, our local partner Anadolu Kültür as well as European project partners and associated foundations, we are currently preparing for providing targeted support through the established crisis response mechanism of our Culture of Solidarity Fund and our media programmes.
