The European Pavilion podcast

Listen to the podcast series produced as part of The European Pavilion: an arts programme dedicated to the question of Europe and its future that we initiated in 2020.

Comprising five episodes, the first season features personalities from the arts and culture who reflect on the future of Europe and the role that the initiative of The European Pavilion for can play in stimulating imaginaries beyond the national. It opens up urgent questions that hover in any conversation about the future of Europe  and discusses topics such as  public space and ecology, post-national imaginaries and representation.

This second podcast series gives insight into the curatorial concept and production process of Liquid Becomings: the 2024 edition of The European Pavilion. Choreographing an artistic flow across four European rivers, Liquid  Becomings is a travelling pavilion that takes the form of four boats sailing on four European rivers, before coming together in Lisbon for a final artistic programme in November 2024. Featuring interviews with the curators and partners involved, the podcast series also reflect on what the Liquid Becomings journey and themes mean to Europe.
