Culture of Solidarity Fund: Ukraine edition

The Culture of Solidarity Fund Ukraine edition supports cultural initiatives that, in the midst of turmoil, crisis and war reinforce European solidarity and the idea of Europe as a shared public space.

After five successful European, regional and thematic editions, the Ukraine edition is now open for cultural emergency requests and joint European actions to stand with Ukraine.

ECF Programme actions

We are streamlining efforts for friends, partners and cultural networks in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe, such our support for Bellingcat through our programme Networked European Media. Soon we will share news about initiatives we support through our programmes, including The European Challenge and The European Pavilion.

More grantee stories

Besides having launched the Culture of Solidarity Ukraine edition we streamline actions for Ukraine in our daily programmes. Our PMA laureates Visual Culture Research Centre [2015] and Borderland [2018] have received a donation to support their dedicated Ukraine related work.

MitOst coordinates the collaborative efforts of civil society organisations that are directly supporting on-the-ground efforts to secure people, provide protection, facilitate evacuations, and connect to temporary accommodation. Our role involves bridging communications, directing financial support, needs assessments and connecting networks and offers of support.

Resources to support Ukraine

On this page, you will find a non-exhaustive overview of links to pages explaining what you can do to support cultural networks.
