CAP’MED by Les Têtes de l’Art
1 Nov 2023
CAP’MED, led by Les Têtes de l’Art in collaboration with the Mediterranean Youth Council (MYC), artists and cultural organisations across the Mediterranean, unites young leaders from four territories: Spain, France, Morocco, and Egypt. In an era where youth play a role in pursuing a more equitable future, CAP’MED acts as a catalyst, centering discussions on social and environmental justice. CAP’MED leverages MYC’s capabilities to empower Mediterranean youth effectively. This project combines advocacy, education, and tangible actions, fostering dialogue and action within the region.
The outcomes include educational workshops in Marseille, where diverse participants will collaborate on data consolidation, just transition initiatives, and artistic projects. Youth ambassadors will engage with local communities to promote sustainability. CAP’MED will organise three Med’Talk TV panels led by young participants, addressing Mediterranean sustainable development topics chosen by the youth. These discussions, enhanced by videographers, journalists, editorial experts, provide a dynamic platform to engage with sustainability issues.
CAP’MED is a dynamic initiative uniting Mediterranean youth, artists, and cultural organisations. It aims to drive positive change by empowering youth, fostering dialogue, and addressing environmental and social justice issues.
