Safe cultural spaces for culture workers from Ukraine and Moldova

The project will establish safe cultural spaces for artists and activists from Ukraine to help cultivate new professional relations with peers in Moldova and to share thoughts on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region through the creation of new artworks. This activity should reinforce the existing links and create new ones between activists from Ukraine and Moldova, refugees, local citizens and authorities, strengthening the resilience and capacity of the independent culture scene in response to the war. The 12-month long program will support 4 local artists and curatorial residencies focusing on exchange in the fields of critical art, public spaces, self-organization, memory and cultural policies with refugees.
