Project: Ukrainian Voices in London
The project Ukrainian Voices in London by Power Play Productions CIC enable the first fully-staged Ukrainian productions in the UK since the Russian invasion. The two plays, documentary screening and panel discussions will provide much-needed context and historical understanding of realities in Ukraine to the UK audience as both plays reference the long-standing struggle for autonomous identity and freedom. The workshop programme for Ukrainian refugee artists and non-artists, as well as artistic commissions and the staging of the plays, will create a safe platform for Ukrainian voices. The discussions and production will be professionally recorded and broadcast online to a wide European and international audience.
