Ta(r)dino 6 Art Platform – Digital Summer 2022

In the arts and culture sector the COVID-19 pandemic particularly damaged independent initiatives in small cities. Offline activities, local and international collaborations have become nearly impossible affecting an already fragile self-sustainable system. It became much harder to engage new audiences and participants in artistic and cultural activities, to respond to actual challenges instead of consuming an endless stream of entertaining information online. Ta(r)dino6‘s project – organised in partnership with Kultur Aktiv (Dresden) and IZOLYATSIA. Platform for Cultural Initiatives (Kyiv and Soledar) – will take the best from online and offline worlds, redefining the notion of togetherness: in-person communication and bonding, using technology to develop relationships remotely with international participants, using computer games to grow connections with the local context and immediate environment. Project participants from small decentralised communities in Azerbaijan, Germany and Ukraine will learn the necessary skills needed to develop more of their personal digital art and cultural projects and to be able to make the first steps in the development of the creative economy.
