European Digital Citizenship

Promotes responsible, inclusive and rights-based engagement in Europe’s digital public space.

The digital world shapes how we connect, learn, and participate in society. We believe Europeans deserve digital spaces that protect their privacy, promote transparency, and strengthen democracy.

Display Europe

Displayeurope.eu is a ground-breaking media platform anchored in public values. The platform provides citizens across the continent access to trustworthy information and a picture of Europe that is not usually conveyed by mainstream or national media. Through translation, syndication and originally-created-content displayeurope.eu gathers and disseminates trustworthy press from across Europe. Built from a sovereign, self-governed, open-source digital infrastructure, Displayeurope.eu breaks free from the Big Tech social media and streaming platforms that currently filter and frame media production. In this more democratic display of Europe, displayeurope.eu will be a force for democracy across the continent.

Council for European Public Space

The Council for European Public Space aims to create a European Public Space constituted according to democratic rules. The think-and-do-tank will develop evidence-based and politically viable strategies to advance the goal of an open, fair, and safe European Public Space. It will advocate for rights and major investments from EU institutions and support existing initiatives from science, industry, and civil society. The Council is composed of eminent European personalities who represent diverse perspectives towards the common goal of a democratic and more unified Europe.

Europe Talks

Europe Talks is a project aimed at boosting participation and voter turnout in the 2024 EU elections. Citizens across Europe will answer key political questions and be matched with someone from another EU country who answered differently, leading to one-on-one conversations across eight digital and four in-person events. A network of journalists from diverse EU media outlets will meet to shape discussion themes and develop storytelling formats that bring these dialogues to life. Their multilingual, multimedia coverage will highlight the diversity and democratic potential of cross-border citizen exchange.
