Culture Helps Solidarity / Культура допомагає: Open Call for Individual Care Grants Round 2

War continues to reshape everyday life for cultural workers in Ukraine. Displacement, injury and prolonged uncertainty have disrupted the lives and practices of many artists who continue to support their communities through culture.

The Individual Care Grants under Culture Helps Solidarity / Культура допомагає respond to this reality. The call supports Ukrainian cultural workers who need time and resources to focus on well-being, recovery and the conditions needed to continue their cultural work.

The grants are open to artists, cultural practitioners and creative professionals from Ukraine, whether they remain in the country or are temporarily displaced elsewhere. Support can be used for initiatives that prioritise personal recovery, mental health and the ability to sustain cultural practice.

Culture Helps Solidarity / Культура допомагає is a Creative Europe-funded programme running from October 2025 until March 2028. It builds on the earlier Culture Helps programme, implemented between 2023 and 2025, and is delivered through a partnership between Insha Osvita in Kyiv, zusa in Berlin, the VETERANKA Movement in Kyiv, and the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam.

Across the programme, more than €1.4 million will support over 200 individuals and organisations, alongside opportunities for learning, mentoring and exchange that strengthen professional capacity and cross-border connection.

Applications for the second round of Individual Care Grants are now open. Proposals must be submitted by 6 April 2026 at 13:00 (Amsterdam time).
